Fourteen years ago, Pacey watched his one true love die before his eyes. In the aftermath of Andie's death, he returned to Capeside determined to raise her little girl, Mera just as Andie would have. But as Mera's mental state wavers and Pacey begins to see more and more of Andie in her behaviours, he comes to the realization that he has to tell her the truth of what happened all those years ago to make her an orphan.

Jack is still dealing with the repercussions of what Drue confessed him as they both search for the truth.
