Dawson and Joey arrive in Capeside, so Dawson can collect more footage for Jack’s documentary. While they’re there, Dawson has to confront some disturbing news. At the same time, in Boston, Pacey is having the opening of his restaurant in a very special event organized by Andie . Back to Capeside, Jack learns that Doug is going on with his life in a way he didn’t expect, which causes Jack to resolve his feelings about the recent development.
