James van der Beek dies after long battle with cancer

It is with profoundly heavy hearts that we bid farewell to beloved series favourite James van der Beek. After a long, courageous, and exhausting battle with cancer, he passed away yesterday, surrounded by his loved ones.
James was not only a remarkable actor whose talent and presence touched generations of viewers, but also a devoted husband and a loving father. He leaves behind his wife and six wonderful children, who were always at the very center of his life and the greatest source of his joy.
His passing leaves a deep and painful void — within his family, among his friends, and in the hearts of fans around the world. May he rest in peace.
I extend my deepest condolences to his family and wish them comfort, unity, and strength in the difficult days and weeks ahead.
Mit zutiefst schwerem Herzen nehmen wir Abschied von unserem geschätzten Serienliebling James van der Beek. Nach einem langen, mutigen und kräftezehrenden Kampf gegen den Krebs ist er gestern im Kreise seiner Liebsten von uns gegangen.
James war nicht nur ein außergewöhnlicher Schauspieler, der mit seinem Talent und seiner Ausstrahlung Generationen von Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauern berührte, sondern auch ein liebevoller Ehemann und hingebungsvoller Vater. Er hinterlässt seine Ehefrau und sechs wundervolle Kinder, die stets im Mittelpunkt seines Lebens standen und denen seine größte Liebe galt.
Sein Verlust hinterlässt eine schmerzliche Lücke – in seiner Familie, bei seinen Freunden und in den Herzen seiner Fans auf der ganzen Welt. Möge er in Frieden ruhen.
Seiner Familie spreche ich mein tiefstes Mitgefühl aus und wünsche ihr in dieser schweren Zeit Trost, Zusammenhalt und die Kraft, die kommenden Tage und Wochen zu überstehen.

unser Dawson's Creek Fanfiction-Archiv ist umgezogen – und erstrahlt nun auf einer neuen technischen Grundlage!
Nach vielen Jahren mit dem veralteten eFiction-Skript haben wir den Schritt gewagt und sind auf das moderne, aktiv weiterentwickelte myFiction umgestiegen. Das bringt nicht nur mehr Sicherheit und bessere Bedienbarkeit mit sich, sondern auch viele neue Möglichkeiten für Leser:innen und Autor:innen.

Im Zuge des Umzugs widmen wir uns auch einem Herzensprojekt:
